Dont use self clean function

Loved this oven until I ran the self clean function and the glass shattered. What a mess and a pain to get fixed. I called LG and they sent me to a repair company that has not yet completed the $400 out of pocket repair.

Dont buy this beautiful useless expensive junk

This $2400+ product is a beautiful looking piece of junk. It has failed 2 times in less than 3 years of service. Don the supervisor was arrogant and rude. Acciording to Don he answers to nobody in the company. It took 4 weeks to get the replacement part the first time and 2 weeks the 2nd. Why you are asking for a review is beyond me. It is clear LG could not care less and there is no way this review will ever be a part of LGs propaganda as LG claims its ovens last on average 13 years

LG double wall oven

After researching I bought an LG double wall oven. It was super easy to install after a few modifications to the cabinet. There was one bottom trim piece missing that Lowes did not include in the box but a quick call to LG solved that and the part arrived in a few days - excellent customer service The display is easier to read than my previous Jenn-air model and Im looking forward to using some of the special features like the warm/proof setting. The interior is beautiful too. The oven preheats quickly and has many customizable settings as well. Im very happy with this purchase.
