I moved into a new home and this was the garbage disposal that the builder used. Worked mediocre at first and then broke after 2 days. Looks like it couldn™™t handle a few pieces of macaroni. Will be switching out to an insinkerator

This unit came with my new home and I love it! It works great, seems to have larger opening than my previous disposer. It runs smoothly and quietly and there is no residual left behind!

Almost two months and not an issue yet. The disposal is pretty quiet considering the power and again it's a disposal. Works great and looks great. Nice casing and quality parts from looks of it and again sounds great.

The flywheel is made of really cheap iron that easily rust and it does not has a crank for a wrench to un-jam it. We barely use our disposal, but after a couple of years its flywheel is so rusted that the unit gets jammed all the time and the only option to make it work again is using a broom stick. We do not recommend this unit to anyone.

The disposer came with our new house. From day #1 (about six months ago) the sink fails to drain or drains very slowly unless the disposer is running; what an energy waste! I wish Frigidaire would correct this for us. In the meantime, I wonder if I could cut the splash guard to promote drainage -- but without compromising its function. Do you have answers? The disposer performance otherwise has been good.

This disposal was provided by the builder of our new home. Our problem is the water will not easily drain from the sink (the disposal is clear of food waste). On a warranty call, the plumber showed that the splash guard design was the issue. He could replace the splash guard, but said it would not correct the problem. In my search for a replacement splash guard, I came up with zero. My search included talking with Electrolux, both the parts and warranty departments. Because it is under warranty, they offered to replace the complete unit. Keep in mind a splash guard is an item that will wear out in time. If you want the option of replacing the splash guard when its time comes, don't buy this unit.

If you are looking for a regular, standard size and operational continuous feed garbage disposal, this is the one, Standard base, no need to switch your already installed base in your sink if you do not want to, it fits right on it, is easy to install and its operation is quiet compare with others of the same type, if I ever need any other disposal in the future, this type and brand is the one, price wise is lower than most brands and quality is superior, I recommend this unit as I will buy it again and again if I need to.

I dont like this disposal at all there is no anti seize hole on the bottom and the only way to try and repair is turning a wooden dowel from the top. This method is not working for me and i would prefer having the allen wrench hole the bottom to unseize the motor
